  Heráldica Nordestense: Origins and Meanings

  
  

  This is an exhibition on the origin and meaning of the heraldry of all parishes. Heraldry is present in our daily lives, yet we rarely look at the symbols on coats of arms and their relationship with the respective parish or municipality.

  Location: Exhibition Hall of the Municipality of Nordeste (Praça da República, Vila do Nordeste)
  Open: Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  The municipality of Nordeste will host the presentation of Raquel Dutra’s new album, “(re)cantos,” at the Centro Municipal de Atividades Culturais in Vila do Nordeste on April 25.
  Organized by the municipality of Nordeste, the event will also commemorate the April Revolution of 1974.
