Christmas Market

The Nordeste Tourist Office will have a variety of handicrafts for home decoration, Christmas dinner tables, and gifts.
Stop by the market and support local artisans. It will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. without interruption.

Achadinha Nativity Scene

Until January 11, you can visit Achadinha to enjoy the traditional nativity scene consisting of hundreds of wooden miniatures that faithfully reproduce the parish.

Opening: December 8 at 1:30 p.m.
Location: Escola do Plano dos Centenários (Rua da Eira Velha)
Visiting hours: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. every day of the week (including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, except December 25 and January 1)

Christmas Concert

The Eco Edificante Philharmonic, from Vila do Nordeste, and the Marcial Troféu Philharmonic Band, from Vila da Povoação, will hold a joint concert to celebrate the Christmas season. Don't miss it!

New Year's Eve in the Municipality

The municipality is once again betting on the Largest King Cake in the Azores as an attraction for the New Year's Eve program, in addition to sparkling wine and music starting at 11:00 p.m.
