This museum gathers more than two thousand objects of historical, ethnographic and cultural value, which helps to portray the old daily way of life in the municipality of Nordeste, with essentially rural and agricultural characteristics. Here you can find representations of the domestic life, religious action, food, diaspora, pottery, field work, the profession of the art of shoemaking and primary education. In the handicrafts section, the special highlights cover the work of the loom, including artifacts related to spinning and weaving.

The Municipal Exhibition Hall regularly showcases a wide variety of exhibitions. The majority of the exhibitions are presented by regional artists, including works by Paula Rego, António Eduardo Soares de Sousa and Nestor de Sousa, among many others.

This lighthouse was the first one to be built in the Azores (1876).
It is possible to visit and enjoy a guided visit within the Arnel Lighthouse, allowing visitors to learn about the history and heritage, as well as the activity of the lighthouse and the lighthouse keeper.
Here you may also find a permanent exhibition about the Azorean lighthouses.
Attending to the steep slope of the access path to the lighthouse and the lack of on-site parking, it is recommended that you walk down the road to the lighthouse, on foot, leaving the vehicles in the parking lots near the main road (Estrada Regional) and next to the beginning of the fishing port path.

This ethnographic exhibition center preserves the memories of some cultural traditions from the parish. Here you can see some tools once used by Lomba da Fazenda's families in their daily activities.

This house belonged to the parents of the writer João de Melo and was adapted to operate as a cultural activities dedicated space. Here you can find contents of historical and ethnographic representation of the municipality and parish of Achadinha, with emphasis on the traditional houses and kitchens.
It has a pleasant reading room, complemented by a small exhibition space, where you can find the remarkable bibliographic collection donated by João de Melo and all the works published by himself.
You can also find information about the life and work of João de Melo, as well as an internet space, an exhibition room and a work room of a local artisan.

This center pays honors to those who have contributed in some way with their work to the forests of the Azores, while simultaneously broadcasts the work developed by the Forestry Services and promotes the local forestry resources. The center also contains a small museum center displaying tools used by forest rangers and a recreational and educational area for the youngest.

The Priolo Environmental Center is an information facility which aims to spread the Priolo's knowledge and the preservation of its natural habitat: the Laurissilva Forest. In this Center you will find an exhibition space that tells the background, context and the importance of Priolo, his threats and the results obtained from the different preservation campaigns.

This water mill represents a time from the past when the grinding of cereals to make bread was of great importance throughout the municipality, with records of several dozens having been built along the streams that had greater flow.
Every visitor is able to access the mill and learn about its operation through the information panels that are available inside.
Furthermore, you may also visit other mills that contain interpretive information about this location, by exploring the park’s downstream.

This museum was created during the 90’s of the 20th century, gathering some agricultural tools, a representation of the traditional house and domestic life, as well as cultural and social experiences from its parish.

This exhibition hall located at the Vila de Nordeste’s tourist office intends to promote local artists, but also intends to support the local artisans by showcasing their works helping to improve the sale of their handcrafts. Every year, various visitable initiatives are held within this facility such as photography and painting exhibitions, book fairs, handicraft markets and other cultural initiatives.

This ethnographic center is installed in an old shed owned by the Azorean Agricultural Development Service in Santo António de Nordestinho. It presents an impressive collection of agricultural tools and several utensils that were once used in field works.

The customs and traditions from the people of Achada are all kept in this museum center. It gathers several artefacts gifted or donated by the population of the parish, namely, agricultural utensils, objects of domestic life, artefacts related to emigration and religious rituals (especially the Holy Spirit's Worship), among other pieces, to preserve a significant part of the parish's cultural history.
