Route: This circular route in the parish of Lomba da Fazenda passes through several points of interest in the municipality, beginning in the garden next to the Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição. Follow the road and turn to the left left towards Parque de Campismo (Camping site). At the end of the descent, cross the Ribeira do Guilherme stream and contemplate the old mills, as well as a fountain from 1982. Continue the trail, by taking an ascending stage surrounded by Cryptomeria (Cryptomeria japonica), Australian boxwood/cheesewood (Pittosporum undulatum) and Acacia (Acacia melanoxylon). At the end of the climb it is possible to make a detour on the right to visit Vila do Nordeste, or instead go down to the bathing area of Foz da Ribeira.
Walk up the cliff along a dirt track through farming fields and pastures to the coast. Follow the signs crossing a stream and you will arrive at the Pelado Endemic Park, named for its arid terrain and the presence of small endemic vegetation that is identified throughout the park.
Continue the trail down to the "old port" used in the past for unloading supplies. Return to the Endemic Park using the same access and follow the road until you find the indication to turn to Morgada Park, with a picnic area and a good place to rest, where you can see old washing tanks near the stream. Explore this place and resume the hike going up to the Barreiros viewpoint and from here to the center of the parish, where you started the trail. A little further on from the Barreiros viewpoint, you will pass by an artisanal bakery called "Cooperativa Alegria e Paz".
